In the design of a space, the prevailing factor is supposed the desire for openness, lightness, freedom, flexibility, mobility and simplicity manifests itself. With great attention to simplicity of
the spatial arrangement, the spatial
flexibility, freedom of movement and distribution are made possible. A smooth transition between inside and outside creates a clean, smooth and flexible space, dilating and
expanding the relationship space. The design
takes advantage of the setting by allowing an abundance of natural light into
the interior spaces and unobstructed views into different directions. There is a sense of openness that integrates the space within the
space and its surroundings. The immediate adjacency to nature, the stunning vistas
over the flow between interior and exterior,
animated dynamism of the
strolling visitors are what make this volume so appealing and exciting, as nature is viewed as an unfolding piece of art itself
with changing conditions of water, earth, and sky observed from within.
While there is connection between nature
and building, the facade is very light, deep
and variable according to the use of its inhabitants, creating reflections,
shadows and silhouettes. The exterior
appearance is defined by exposed material
detail
and glass, while the interior is designed with service volumes
floating along the spine of space. This
makes a space gently touches the ground, floating
within its surroundings and carefully responding to the ecology of the site.
